LOVE is NOT
EQUAL to romance, ownership, sex.
Love means
immortality and self is the ground in both space and time.
MAN--he is a
being in the world and composes totality. He has faculties and agencies where
he can have FREEDOM. Man as oneself is given as a gift to other people. It is
the SELF that is given as love. It is the SELF that is, given his love.
YOU ARE LOVED
BECAUSE OF YOUR TOTALITY AND NOT OF ANY PART OF YOU. SELF GIVEN IN LOVE IS NOT
A LOSt OF SELF but instead of unity. In loving, SELF IS GAINED.
LOVE is not
demanding the other person what you want. People who love you change themselves
because they love you. They give your worth, it is not you who tells what your
worth.
MAN as a loving
being in the world transposes love from an abstract concept to a historical and
concrete kind of love. The process of transposing love is seen through labor
(example: work/effort).
WE remember our
love for someone because we have a CONCRETE thing to remember.
WE take care of
ourselves because we love our love ones.
Our love ones are UNIQUE AND IRREPLACEABLE. However, the paradox
arises e.g. we only have one mother and can have many best friends, mother is
irreplaceable and unique, but each of our best friends are also unique in themselves
yet we can replace them with other “better than best” friends. The question now is,
aren’t our BFFs also our love ones?
LOVE is SACRED,
TOTAL ( given freely), VULNERABLE.
TRUST is
VALUABLE in LOVE. TRUST IS NOT DEMANDED.
